President Obama knows how to create new jobs for American people

President Obama is right, the US and every American citizen need to invest more time and energy to turn the society to a green one. This conversion from burning fossil fuel to using alternative energy in the forms of solar, wind, hydroelectric, biofuel and geothermal must be done for several different reasons.

  • The green economy will not harm the quality of our air or the environment like fossil fuel burning does.

  • US can become an energy independent country with no needs need to import oil.

  • Ultimately, green energies are renewable, extremely efficient and far less expensive than the continuous mining and drilling for fossil fuels.

By consequence, federal, state, and local governments should work in conjunction on the issue of alternative energy research. They should invest time and energy for development and implement mandatory programs for new home construction and all home redesigning that stipulate the installation of alternative energy power sources. The final goal must be that over a certain period of years any new home or corporate building to use 100% installation of alternative energy sources. The mentioned authorities should also develop and implement similar programs targeting new vehicles powered by alternative energy sources

All levels of government could also impose mandatory compliance laws on construction and utilities companies. The utility companies should be required and supported to invest in alternative energy research and development. They also should be required to buy back, at fair rates, all excess energy produced by alternative energy power sources used in homes.

The investment in developing renewable energies should be supported by government trough strong financial incentives This new approach would not only turn the US energy independent, but it would stimulate the growth of the economy and provide a lot of new jobs for American people.
